FBI Fest began as a village fete of sorts and was held in the adjacent field when Sylvie & Roy Noyce helmed The Ferry Boat Inn. General Manager Nicki and her family were raised on the tradition of attending the late May bank holiday festival in North Fambridge where local bands like Never Grew Up came out to play and local beers, ciders and ales were served alongside good pub grub. Having returned to The Ferry Boat Inn as its Captain, Nicki and her team made short work of restoring this annual event to its rightful place: in our own, green beer garden.

We expect a high volume of people; to guarantee a seat outside or in our beer tent, please arrive early, or bring your own collapsible lawn chair or picnic blanket.
FBIFest is fun for the whole family, whether you’re looking to try every local ale on tap in the beer tent, enjoy the bouncy castle in the garden with your friends, eat some delicious food under the warm sun on the patio, or listen to your favourite local bands play across the weekend, we have something for everyone, including the dog! Ask us about our range of natural dog treats, or grab a dog-friendly ice cream from our freezer chest so Fido can also enjoy FBIFest as a member of the family.
This event will go forward, whatever the weather. We have space inside the pub, or inside our beer tent in the garden should it rain. Umbrellas on our patio tables are available to be opened in case of heat, or rain.
